Default need your opinion on a HP Pavillion Laptop

howdy everyone, i have a chance on buying an HP laptop for very cheap (589 canadian dollars) The laptop looks to be in great condition but the only thing is the bat lasts about less then an hour. the laptop specifications are as follows:

HP PAVILLION ZE4325CA CEL 2.0GHZ 60GB 256MB 15IN TFT 56K 10/100 WLAN XPHOME

my problem is that i tried to look for reviews or information on this laptop and cant find it anywhere at all. I did however find that NCIX.com was selling this laptop for 1800 (i asume US dollars?) but even that website had absolutly no info on this laptop. When i do a search on the ZE4325ca model all i keep getting is a ton of information on replacement batteries and thats it. I am wondering if anyone here has had experience on this computer and if it is worth the buy despite the poor battery performance.

Thanks a million in advance!,
Nico

It's an old model, but still a good unit. But if you want better battery life, you can shell out a little more for a more up to date system with more power and battery life (Centrino). Although it may be affordable now, but buying a newer battery or upgrading later may be a more costly route. You can probably find something with a up to date Pentium M with more power than the Celeron and better Battery life.

you know if think that you could go better than that for about 600. you might be able to get a new one which would also stoip you paying an extra 100 or so for the battery. but with the 60gi HD and the alright processor that is a quite resonable comp, the ram might be worth an upgrade in the future though
