Default speakers, sound card, driver for them, not sure!!!!!!!!

my speakers work but no sound is produced. we dont have the driver as they came with comp and we wasn't supplied with a cd for them.
it says on front of them harman/kardon if that means ote to you, they are by HP, thats all i can tell you, cant find any other information about them.

Can anyone help, please provide instructions if asking me to do something.

LOL there the same speakers as I've got....LOL but mine worked when I got the pc....You shouldn't have to really get the drivers for your speakers because your computer should already have the drivers for them ?!?!? but if you have to....you have to

Driver for speakers??? You need a driver for the soundcard, but not for the speakers.

i upgraded operating system, xp home to pro. but driver isn't already set-up. I dont know the make or model, so dont know what driver to download

Like stated above you need a driver for the sound card not the speakers. What kind of computer do you have?
