OK
Im having a problem .......... well kinda I have a MSI KT6 Delta mobo with a 3000+ Sempron processor now i have googled it to find its supposed to run at 2.00 ghz, so whats wrong with mine because its only running @ 1.2ghz? I have updated my bios and no different, so im assuming theres something i need to alter in the bios ? This is where you guys come in, I Need Help!!!! |

I think it could be the FSB being set at 100 instead of the 166. 100 x 12 would give 1.2Ghz while 166 x 12 would give 1.99Ghz......which is what you are shooting for

On MSI site it says you have to have Bios 5.7 is see a Sempron 3000+ I would try to set the FSB to 166 and put the divider on 5-2-1 first before updating the bios

ya keep going SLOWLY and check to see if it's stable and it it crashes under stress test check my sig i over clocked over 500Mhz and i have a sempron 2400+
