Recently I start having a sound problems when playing any type of video file on my PC.
I have Sound Blaster Live 24Bit sound card.As long as I keep my WMP minimized the sound is all right, the minute I pop it back on the screen (with any type of visualization/video file) the sound becomes distorted or scratchy. It is not just WMP, all DVD/Video programms I have are acting the same way. I thought it could be a video or audio card conflict, but after trying everything(disabling, updating drivers, uninstalling drivers)I still have this problem. Please advise what am I dealing with, and what should I do to fix this issue. Thank you in advance, Alex. |

what are the stats of your computer? It sounds like the visualization is demanding so many processor resources that it doesn't have enough left to smoothly stream the audio.
So either you have an older processor, onboard video, or a TON of junk backround processes strangeling your CPU and memory.
