Question need help!!

Hey guys, In my Dell Dimension 8100 (parents old computer), there's a SB Live Value soundcard. According to some other online forums, they say there's 4 versions of the SB live value card. I need to know if there's difference between the drivers, if so, how am i suppose to know which sb live value card i hav in my dell. im planning to move the card to my computer and move my cruddy sound card over to the dell because this the dell is rarely used. thanks in advance.

Here's the specs to the dell

1.3ghz P4
Geforce 2 mx graphic card (i think thats the one)
128megs Rambus Pc800 ram
40 gig maxtor harddrive (original 30, we upgraded)

Take the card out and look for the version number printed or stuck on the board
It will probably be right beside the model number

or check creative's website and see if they have multiple drivers for your card, if there's only one set, you're good to go without looking into it any more

i think it's a one-size-fits-all driver. Download it and try to install it. It will either work or it won't. If it causes problems or doesn't work, just uninstall it. It will probably check for compatability before install and whine at you if it won't work.
