Smile possible upgrade

After deciding that a PCI graphis card would not do the job, and my onboard graphics wont display some objects like water in some games. I think I may need to upgrade my motherboard

How can I tell If a motherboard will fit properly into a case, do all ATX motherboards fit into all ATX cases? I've got a pavillion a1100y It looks like all of the ones I've found will fit but just making sure

However, I would like some suggestions
It needs to be able to hold a Celeron D and have a PCI express and AGP and at least 2 pci slots and onboard audio and preferably use DDR SDRAM so i can use my "old" ram. I sure sound picky.

There are very fwe motherboards that have both PCI-E and AGP, i've only seen one and its designed for an AMD. I dont think you'll have much luck looking for one of those for a socket 478.

And again, i've only seen one socket 478 motherboard that has PCI-E. I think you'd have better luck getting an AGP board.

And AGP video cards are still very nice, you can get an AGP 6800GT if you wanted to, or an x850XT PE.
