Most people here are either on Dial-Up, DSL, or Cable. I find satellite to be a big rip-off since there slow speeds, the cap your downloads, and you have high latency in games.

My DSL provider is GSInet.

Hello ,

I think the satellite Internet has a better QOS , its better thanks the DSL or the cable , but you must choose the right company.

Satellite speed can reach up to 8mbps of speed , that will give you 1MBps of file download speed.

my satallite down speed is still faster than the average users speed. Infact the fastest speed in my small town next to mine, is 512kbps. but that is a population of 500

I have SBC yahoo dsl. I have regretted it as soon as we got it. IT conflicts with out linksys wireless router all the time, and some how my sister keeps taking down the internet. My download speeds a whooping 150kp/s. Better then dial up
