Question asus kv8-e deluxe lan problems

ok i just put my new comp together

asus kv8-e deluxe
amd athlone 64bit 3200
kingston pc3700 ram (512)
ati 9800 pro 256

here is my problem when i start up my computer everything goes fine then i open up my internet and it works but after about 5 to 10 min my internet starts to slow down and then stops all together

did u buy the Motherboard retail.. maybe ur onboard LAN is burn or just not fully workin!! that seems weird...

1. Onboard lan could be flakey, i doubt it but its still possible
2. Check the wire
3. Check the NIC settings in Device Manager to see that everything is optimized
4. Update the drivers?

ok i updated my drivers still nothing then i checked my BIOS settings using the asus bois update program and it says ( onboard lan : none(wol) ) what the hell does that mean. also when i try to connect to the internet the orange light flashes on the rj-45 plug in but the green light never comes on
( i dont know if that means anything )

Means somehow the lan port died. A replacement is in order (or maybe you need to enable it?)
