Default FP Extension Problems

I recently created a web page in FP2000 and uploaded to angelfire. They claim to have FP extensions there. My web contains a hit counter and a forum. During the upload process, I got the message that those pages may not operate properly because the server I was uploading to doesn't have the extensions. It asked if I still wanted to upload the files. I said yes. When the page came up, my hit counter wasn't present and the forum didn't work (just like it said). After searching the angelfire help stuff, I found that you have to FP Enable your site there for things to work correctly. I did that. Then my hit counter poped up and said I was visitor number "1". OK. The forum still did not run. After working on it for some time, I realize my hit counter is stuck at "1" and the forum doesn't allow posts. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? One person already suggested naming the files with the html extension, but that didn't work. Hope someone can help. I really wanna get that stuff working.
