Question how can i format HD

I use WINDOWS xp . how can i format my hard disc totaly? & how can I enter to DOS?

with windows xp you dont need to use DOS to reformat. Simply put the windows xp cd in your computer, start up the computer, then it will take you into the setup. Then press "DELETE" when it shows your hard drive, then install windows on that and tell it to format it under NTFS.

using a boot-disk, but it wont do you anygood, cause boot disks will only allow you to run a few utilities, from the disk.

your best solution is exactly what Geoff5093 suggested:
