Default A64 Venice 3000+ 50% OC ;))

Heya guys,

I finally managed to get 2.7Ghz on my A64 3000+. The default clock was 1.8 Ghz and I managed to get it stable to 2.7Ghz (900Mhz OC). That constitutes a 50% OC and 100% percent sattisfaction from my side. The only downside, 1.6V on the Vcore..and an idle temp of 31 Celsius which is approximately 2 Celsius more than on 2.6Ghz. The load temps were 45 Celsius after some 30mins + of SuperPI 24M calculations. The RAM is clocked at 225Mhz and at the default 2.5-3-3-7 for 216Mhz. I got a SuperPI score of 33 seconds compared to 36 on 2.6Ghz. Here are the screens:

Default Hihi

1.616 is not actually true...it's more like 1.65V That's the max "safe" ceiling. The temps are great though so I am not overly worried for now.

Guess.....STOCK! The stock cooling has been serving me well since the start. On 1.8Ghz, the temp was 28 Celsius. On 2.6Ghz, 29-30 Celsius and right now I have it on 31 Celsius. All temps idle of course. I have never gone beyond 46 load on either frequency. Bear in mind that it's a Venice

Default Yup

You will have the advantage of having a 10X multi. I have a 9X multi and really have to push the core to 300Mhz to get 2.7Ghz, while you will not need to go that high.
