Question New computer

I am trying to update my computer so that I can copy digital pictures.
I heard that HP is good. Any advice? Thanks, Dan.

umm, do you want a scanner or does your current computer not have usb ports? Please read the Questions 101 page and give us the stats on your computer and more information about what you'd like to do

Your trying to update your software/hardware of your current PC? Or your trying to update to a NEW computer and your asking about what type of computers are good?

do you really need to? haha.

jokes aside...

what kind of camera do you use? does it have the option to input external storage like sd cards, compact flash, mspro memory duo, mmc, etc..?

do your computer have usb ports?

if so, just go buy a card reader you can find like at best buy or anywhere and plug it into your usb (cheaper than buying a new computer, or upgrading). if it needs a driver, install it and just have your digital camera take pictures onto the external memory and when you want to transfer it.. just insert the external memory into the memory reader for your pc.
