hey guys, i just built a new computer with a 3700+ and a stock heatsink, i removed the stock thermal pad and put on arctic silver 5 instead. i fallowed the arctic silver directions and only put on a bb sized amount on the cpu and put the heatsink on and moved it to spread the thermal greace...
my temp after about an hour is 45c i have read from reviews that it should be at about 36 the last computer i built i put thermal greace everywhere on the cpu but this time i decided to fallow the directions does anyone know what i should do... and if i have to remove the heatsink and re grease it... whats a good way to take it off w/o ripping the cpu out of the socket thanks ConCord |
