Default 4000 or x2

this is probably listed some where in the forum lol w/e Should i get the amd 4000 single core or a 3800 x2 dual core? keep in mind i will be playing alot of games

well for right now, the 4000 is probably better. but in the future when games can utilize dual core processors the X2 will be better. get the dual core, its good for now and its futureproof.

Well heres the low down. The 4000+ is better in games right now, but down the road when games start to use both cores the 3800 will be better so i would go for the 3800 because its more future proof.

The "future" is much sooner than you think, look at 3DMark06, the dual-cores perform much better than single cores. Go with the X2.

ya you pretty much said that, but i just wanted to emphasize that there are many games and apps that greatly benefit from a Dual-Core cpu right now.

Really? Last I checked my multithreaded games do significantly better on my X2 than my FX53
