Default where can i find an inexpensive CPU?

I'm looking into building a decent gaming computer and am looking for a processor for a lower price than $170 (thats what i found at tiger direct).

i've been looking at the AMD cpu's but they don't seem powerful as far as GHZ go...

any help would be greatly appreciated

by the way, what is bus speed? and how important is it?

You can't compare intel's and AMD's Ghz's with eachother, it is NOT everything. If you want a gaming PC I would suggest getting a AMD, If you have a Fry's Electronic's by you were you liv you can pick up 3500+ AMD64 AND a motehrboard for 240$., I dont know your beject on a mobo though...
