If you have a cd writer like a cd-r/rw drive you can burn them to a cd-r so that it can be read on any cd rom drive. Once Windows is reinstalled those can even be copied off of the cd into a temporary folder on the drive to open there. You just have to know the make nad model to locate the correct update for that model card.
