AIM Problem

I recently downloaded the new AIM Triton version. However, sometimes when I sign on, it wont send my IM's whenever I click enter. I have to use the mouse and click "send". This gets really annoying after a while. The thing is, it doesn't do it sometimes, just every once in a while. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? Tried the settings, failed... nothing there.

i would uninstall it and reinstall it and if that doesnt work switch to msn messenger

yuep same thing here... I have to use the ENTER key thats next to the Num pad

just search on google for a previous version of aim, less spyware too. so thats good. if not, then get i think its called trillian. yea.

Well now the damn thing works! I would go MSN but none of my friends want to use it... so many kids here at my school that think that AOL is the ultimate IM user

I suggest a downgrade to AIM 4.8 its spyware free! and you can take all the AD's out of it.

I really do like AIM though... i havn't seen any spyware either... yet...

The new one is a very good improvement... I just can't figure out why it only does it SOMETIMES...

delete aim. It really sucks, use icq and msn its better. For icq you can use aim.

Spyware doesn't always mean pop-ups or viruses, just spy's opn what you do, mnakes reports and sells them to companys. It also sintalls the aol browser and crap. I just suggest using 4.8 its great.
