Default Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064 Computer Mic: HELP

Hey everyone, I just bought a Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064 Computer Mic, for use on AIM, and I can only get it to work half way. My friend, who has the same one, set it up for me, and he doesn't know why it's not working. When I go onto Aim and turn the mic on, I can hear my voice coming out of the speakers, but no one can hear me. I don't know why.

Here's exactly what I've done so far:

- Plug microphone cable in to Mic port on the back of my tower.

- Adjusted sound settings for mic use (un-muteing and all that)

- Adjust boost settings

What's Wrong?

You may not have it set to send the voice, it may just send the voice through your speakers. Google Talk has a built in talk system, its pretty cool.
