Default help

I just bought the X-FI Extreme Plantinum soundcard. Which speaker set is better Logitech Z5500 or Z5450?? I tried to connect it to my surround sound system with Fiber Optic cable, it's great, but I don't have cable that's long enough. Also my center channel is on top of my tv, so I want to get a new set.
