Can anyone reccomend some software that will speed up and optimize my computer.

I found some programs that claim they will do so (whether they actually work or not is another thing, havent tried them). By their name they better do something!

And if your wiling to pay I really recommand to download SpySweeper by Webroot. My experience is, its way better than AdAware, have often run AdAware some times first and then SpySweeper, it finds things AdAware dont! Yeah and to clean off all those performance slowing traces left on your computer due to use Window Washer is a great tool! Also from www.webroot.com. Downside is, you need to buy it but the 30 day trial is free though

. I free replacement i guess would be (havent tried it):
HS CleanDisk Pro 5.21

Most important, as said run Defrag often!
