my daughter jus got an ipod but im not keen in installing all the crappy ipod software that comes with it?
is there any decent programs out there that just lets me add my own mp3s and catalogue them or what? your help would be much appreciated as shes digging my ribs to get this sorted lol |

Unfortunatly, you can only use iTunes to load the music. But what do you have against installing the software? The iTunes program is only 30mb, and if it comes off a CD there will be no viruses/adware. Is there some other reason you don't want to install it? Not wanting to install it sounds unreasonable to me.

so why do i have to install quicktime why not just the software itunes needed to create the library? its crazy

Yes, you have to install Quicktime along with it. Theres no way around it. But all you have to do is uninstall it after iTunes is on there. No big deal.
