Is there a way to transfer a version of microsoft office from one computer to another? Can I just put it on a USB memory device or something??

You would need to use the original CD to install it on another computer. But unless you have multiple liscenses, they can only be used on one computer.

Yeah, has to do with the program needing put stuff into the registry during installation. However, you can download something called Open Office Suite that works great, and is totally compatible with any office suite out there. You can get it here: www.openoffice.org
