I recon the XFX GeForce 7800GTX Extreme XXX Edition 512MB GDDR3 is one of the best cards you can buy at the min.

nVidia - 7800GTX 512MB
ATI - x1800XT 512MB

This should have gone under the "video cards" section.

7800GTX is a GPU not a VC In either case, its pretty hands down right now that the X1900XTX is the best on the block

As for best company, eVGA hands down.

For anyone else who reads this lets pick CARDS not chipsets.

As of this moment, the 7800GTX 512MB is the best, but once ATI releases its x1900XT, that will be the best card, and it only costs $550.

You also missed the big red text 7800GTX-A3 (which is the chip behind what you mean when you say 7800GTX/512 is a chip, not a card).
