internet explorer errors

hi, when theres links on pages i visit i click on them but it doesnt open the page and when i visit pages on net it says done but with errors on page, i cant visit windows update . just cant work out whats wroung. run avg free program and spybot serch and destroy, run ad aware se personal and i use zone labs free version. tried unistalling all the programs and then reistalled, used a few spyware programs and anti virus programs latley. i would be greatful of any help as im very stuck. doj
