I used to have a similar card (Creative Sound Blaster Live! MP3+ External), the sound quality was pretty good, but in some games the sound did not work. If you can afford it, i would go with the Audigy 2ZS Notebook. Now i know that i didnt have this exact model, but just wanted to let you know that you may experience problems with games.
