okay heres the problem....
I have to computers hooked to one router, everything is plugged in. Now when I say everything Both PC's have the ethernet cables plugged into them. Have the DSL modem plugged in as well as the router. (powered those down and restarted them) Both Pcs are on ( Both are restarted). Now what I used is the "network setup" & just about every other setup on the 'network' places area. Download that info into a floppy disk. and then transfered it over to the other pc. Nothing happend. I hope there is another manual way someone can show me how to do! I would greatly appreciate it |

Are you trying for internet access, and if yes, do you have it? Or are you going for file sharing between PCs? Two different things. The router should have come with a manual and maybe install disc; be sure to follow that. That should get you on the net with both PCs.
If you are trying for file sharing, do the network setup routine, be sure that both PCs have the same workgroup name, and be sure that youre firewalls, if any, are not blocking traffic.
