It could have to do with your firewall settings as well. There's probably an option in NIS that controls email settings. If in doubt, close off NIS and see if it still happens.

No its to do with MSN and hotmail. They do not let you download .exe files andother files that could potentialy contain viruses that could extract them selves onto your computer. As for a cure I dunno, have you tried forwarding the emails to anouther address?.

I downloaded a programme once off Edonkey, and that allowed you to edit certain things about MSN (for an older version though), one of theoptions was to stop the blocking of transfering files. Cant remember whatto search or what it was called lol but you could always give it a look in and search around.

Ok I have done a little research. And this is what you want.

http://www.mess.be/

Sign into MSN and find what version it is (if its newest it will be 7.5.0322)

Then search that site for the patch to whatever version you have. Then download it.

Then Run it

Then go to the option "Remove file transfer block extensions" tick it

Click apply and it will be done (I could not say in much more detail if I tried hehe)

One thing took me 5 min to fidnthe download button as it is almost invisible lol so look harder if you cant find it.

Hope that helped

Jon
