Default Motherboard Info.

Well. I'm not exactly sure how to solve this problem. Whenever i turn speedfan on...it crashes my system. Now, i think its relevant to motherboards because.....when i use sisoft sandra...when i check my motherboard info....it also crashes. Thanks for any help.

Hehe speaking of issues with some DFI boards, the latest version of the Smart Guardian reads my temps a 255 across the board and autokills the box

Lightbulb Solution

1) it is not possible to have a motherboard bug, because a motherboard is not a smart device with any memory build on to it. Now there is memory but you have to put it on when you build a system.

2) My guess is that it is probably a cup error, becasue remember that the cpu sends the message to the the motherboard to crash. Obviously, you don't have a big enough hard drive.

Umm... that post makes no sense...

1. What do you think the CMOS is then
2. That makes no sense... it can still have a bug... if you want proof, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...xpert+speedfan

Only it isnt... speedfan works with that processor on other boards and it happened to him multiple times. Besides this is a known issue with that board...

Wait... What? Huh? Where am I? Who? How did you come to that conclusion?

@Johnny Prefect, I think flashing to the newest BIOS would fix the problem. Just make sure you use an official file not a beta. It will alos fix the known cold boot problem where once in a million boots the CPU is fried.

Wow !!! I have never heard such terrible advice in any forum before. Dont take this hard but I suggest you go to the local library and pick up several computer books and read them.

There is memory built into the motherboard

It is far more likely to have a mobo problem than a CPU problem
