Default Is Ebay a bad place to buy Photoshop on?

I wanna use Photoshop, but I know that I'm not paying $500+ for it. I'm not a professional and I can stand to have an older version of this and still be satisified with it. I think they're on version 9.0 or CS 2 or something like that. I've seen 7.0 for a couple hundred and sometimes for much less on Ebay. If it has a valid serial code is this something that most people would still advise against or is it fine to get it from a seller like this?

check the sellers feedback, and other items they are selling, if it is a few hundred $'s then i would say it was legit, as a copy would probably go for far far less, if in doubt email the seller and just ask if it's legit etc.

Cehck the sellers feedback for a WHILE DOWN, put it to 200 a page and look for all the negatives, ALOT of times its pirated software and you can tell ebcause ussaly its exposed in the feedback.

you buy software? [/joke]

i agree with everyone else. make sure the buyer has alot of previous sales, note all negative sales, and then decide.

your school gives you a burned copy and a keygen?! Are you sure they dont have the rights to make the copy, and that its a legit cd key?
