Default Video File as Video Source

Hey everyone,

Just wondering: How do I use a pre-recorded video file (example: .avi, .mpg, etc..) as a video source for use by webcam applications (for example, MSN Messenger's video conversation feature). Is there any way to make an external file listed as a video source?

Thanks in advance!

Default

you put it there very vaguely..

are you meaning...

you have a video file you have on the computer. then you want to use it as your webcam instead of your actual webcam so the other person can see it?
