Default Cable or router?

I keep disconnecting from my internet,

every couple hours or so i disconnect from everything and sometimes in a few minutes it'll come back up, sometimes it wont (actually, i dont know if it does or not, i never sat around to wait) like, sometimes it comes up instantly, and sometimes it doesnt work and i reset my router/cable.

I don't know if this is my cable or my router.

but i reset both of them at the same time

should i reset them individually and see which one is causing the problem? or is there another way to diagnoise this?

Try only using the modem for a bit... You know, just connect it to a single machine

What router do you have, and who is your service provider?
