Default Check This Out

Hey i got sick of having to crawl down by my PC to switch between headphones (no front outputs) and my main speakers. So I built this little box (maybe $20 in parts) to switch between Headphones and Speakers.

I used Paint to illustrate what the connections inside are. I already ordered some decals to label the various inputs/outputs.

Basically, the Mic and Headphone out of my Soundblaster plug into the back of this, as well as the 1/8'' wire for my speakers. Then there are set of heaphone/mic outputs on front, as well as a switch to change between Headphone and Speaker. The Mic stays on the whole time.

And if anyone is wondering, that circular piece of metal on the inside right of the box is just a weight to hold it down from sliding all over my desk.
