Thumbs up sata hdd

hi i was wondering whether i would get a better performance out of having 2 200gb sata drives set up on a raid or just having 1 400gb sata drive if raid is better wich type of raid should i have thanks for any help you can give

Yes, you will have better performance. In RAID 0 (Striped) (sp?) The data is split in two, and sent to each drive. So it takes half the time.

Read the RAID 101 for more info.

yepo raid 0 is what most people use but take in mind if one drive fails both do

Yeah, good point. think its raid 5 where the other drive is backup (correct me if im wrong)

you also need the drivers for raid (probably came with your mobo)
