Default OS Install issue

I'm trying to install Windows XP on a new hard drive. The install starts like normal but after it formats the drive and reboots instead of continuing the install it starts all over.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

it should not reboot until after its installed windows. if its rebooting after the format then there is something wrong.

Follow this procedure, step by step:

If that doesn't help, I'd recommend taking it to somebody who's done this before.
