Default Alright Good Gaming Computer???

Alright here is the set up i think will work well for some games. Tell me what you think.

ASUS P5GD1-VM
Pentium 4 530J
Rosewill 512mb
Evega GEForce 7800gt
Seagate Barracuda 250gb
Rosewill RP550

not sure about the cd and dvd drives yet but what you think about this setup so far any info would be great.

If I were you, i would get an AMD for a gaming computer. You can get a better AMD for the same price. Also, you should bump up the memory to 1GB. Otherwise nice build!

A AMD Athlon 64 3500+ would be fine

yes as long as it supports PCI-E x16

also i would recommend at least 1gb of ram for gaming.

Yeah I'm looking at getting a single 1g RAM stick, and my budget is dunno, I'm just buying pieces at a time I don't need it running in a week but it sure would be nice so some where around $1200 or so.

Is there a big difference between the ASUS A8R-MVP and the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe??

I got a quick question, I baught a mid tower will these components fit???
