Then the other computer is running xp this is the computer that needs to print over the network. I have installed the microsoft file and printer sharing add on. And i have made the printer a shared printer under windows 98. But still no luck. Any Suggestions? Thanks

okay so i've done those steps and it does work on the other pcs in the house, which run windows me. but i still cannot get the xp box to print to the printer on the 98 box. it displays the printer and when i print to it from the xp box the 98 box shows that the page is spooling but nothing comes from the printer. i think it may be a driver problem. but if so how do i install the 98 lexmark driver on to the xp machine
