i have to computers connected to a linksys router my desktop is conncted directly to the router wired and the laptop has a wireless card well i want to be able to view a drive on my laptop via desktop vice versa any way you guys know of doing btw i have no cords to connect em directly has to be through the internet thanks

As long as the same protocols are loaded on both machines and you have shared folders, or have the drives shared on both machines you should be able to do this.
