How do i connect to internet?

I have following:

Pentium 100mhz
32MB Ram
3COM Etherlink III (I have DOS drivers installed and got LAN to work)
PC-DOS 2000

I've tried Arachne browser software and it has my network card listed in compatible cards..

But it can't detect internet connection when I connect my ADSL to the network card!

What do I need to do? Anyone who have used DOS to get to internet?

btw: Card is working, I installed windows to this computer for trying out and I can connect to internet with it, but of course I dont want to use windows

Maybe PC-DOS2000 is not compatible with your network connection, I havn't even heard of PCDOS2000

I've tried all other DOS:s too!
It doesn't help..
It's easy to get into internet with modem but seems to be impossible with lan.. Maybe someone should program an emulator that would make DOS think it's using a modem when it's using an ADSL in real life..

The ADSL-connection via network card requires a software which installs a virtual PPP adapter on the system.
