WOOO HOOO!!!!! It worked, applied it as soon as I got home and played f.e.a.r. since I knew that if it would lock up it would be with that program.. Played for an hour and didn't hang up once or lock up even without my walmart fan, temps stays at about 49 c when at idle and goes no further than 87 c when under load so I know that it was going further than 86 before I applied artic silver. Gonna probably put in a bigger fan and heat sinks for my ram (video card) just to be on the safe side but I know my problem!!!! Thank you all for your help and insight!! I'm staying with this forum, a guy from another forum told me it was because I had 3 higher end games on my computer and that I should take two off..
Thanks again! |

87C load? That seems really high, and isnt great for the CPU.
