Unhappy desk top Icons to many??

how can I get rid of about 200 files that went on my desk top ,my own fault pasted them in thought I was pasting to a floppy

Click on them and press the delete key? I don't know if I'm understanding your question correctly

You can either delete them all or just send them to the floppy.

click anywhere on your desktop where it will not select the icons.

click ctrl+A

hold ctrl and click on the "my computer" "my documents" etc.. so it will unselect them. then drag or cut them to the floppy or a folder u have created.
when u press ctral+A, it selected all of the files that may of gone off the screen also.
