Default 75 processes!

i was wondering why my computer was running so slow so i checked how many procceses i had and i have 75! how do i get rid of all of them!

well look for ones that look a bit strange. if u have aol u can get rid of those, itunes(i know they have some hidden), and any file sharing programs that might be running in the background.

go to start-->run-->type msconfig-->services-->uncheck everything you don't need. Then reboot.

you really have to know which ones to close down that arent important.dont touch explorer.exe iexplorer.exe important are you sure you dont need to just restart your computer or are they cming up when you start your computer!

Some of them may also be spyware related. I'd run a check with spybot & adaware, if you haven't already.
