Default Bottleneck...

Hey guys. Will my RAM be a bottleneck for me? The mobo isnt a bottleneck, is it?

In gaming? I'd say your video card would be the most likely bottleneck.

no ur ram shuldnt be that bad. but in gaming ur gpu is a bit of a bottleneck.

As others have said, your RAM shouldnt be a bottleneck. I wouldnt say that your video card is a bottleneck, but you would notice a huge difference if you upgrade to a 7800 series.

ok, thanks a lot guys. That's suprising...I would have thought it was the RAM. Thanks again.

BTW, I kinda chickened out and cancelled my order on the CPU...I have to rethink it with a clear head, and see if I want to spend that much money for not that huge of a performance increase.

Could be the RAM, the CPU, videocard or motherboard., It kinda depends on what you mean by "everything"

Well, I will be listening to music, watching movies, doing light video editing (Pinnacle studio, maybe some premier sometime down the road) and just internet and word and stuff...And I am getting prob. an Athlon64 3500+.
