Default Video RAM

Does upgrading the RAM do anything for the Video RAM?

not automatically, you might be able to add more of the memory to the dedicated video portion, but I don't know how to go about doing that if it can be done

well ur video ram does more for ur normal ram. it frees up space used for graphics processing by the card and frees up used shared graphics memory.

I wanna know because I took this test to see what I was failing at to run World Of Warcraft, the only thing I didn't have enough of was Video RAM. I own a laptop in which I don't believe has any possibly graphics card upgrades...

well that might be the problem. some games require ur gpu to have a certain level of video memory, as u already know. i cant expect it to be very high on WOW so i wuld guess ur card has maybe 64mb or 128mb, which shuld be sufficent.

but to answer your question more ram will not physically give u more video ram.
