That's nothin. Back in the 80's we had an Apple 2 when it was brand new. The processor speed was only 1 MHz. For the time, it was an amazing machine. LOL!!!

The apple II's had a processor speed of 16Mhz, not 1Mhz lol.

Dude, the first macintosh in 1984 wasn't but 8MHz. The Mac II's where 1MHz. Some of the later ones got a bit faster, but I think 4MHz tops.

Whether the FX-60 is 'the best' CPU can be discussed, but they are seriously fast.

Without a doubt. When the FX-60's first came out, I read on PC world that someone had achieved a stable 3.0GHz with liquid cooling. I can only dream

I have some old apple pizza-box-like computer laying around in my closet somewhere. I think the proc is a 200MHz .

That P3 originally posted isn't that bad of a machine. Obviously you won't be gaming on it, but it would be perfect for personal serving.
