Default Question about 6800 and 7800 Card !

Hi there,

I am in the process of buying all new parts to build my self a nice gamming upgrade.

Any way, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions that I have.

1. Is the 6800 Ultra PCI-E card better than the GS version?

2. For the same price as a 256MB 6800 Ultra PCI-E I could get a 7800GT 256mb, would the 6800 be better?

Thanks for your time.

Default 7800gt

7800GT is a newer card from NVIDIA so therefor it will have all of thier new technologies... so if you want the newer technologies get 7800gt if not get the 6800. 7800GT are extremley fast and don't slow down at all..

Well there the same price, so there wouldnt be any reason to get the 6800Ultra instead. but as you said, it has the newer technologies and is faster, so go with that.
