Default Promedia 5.1, Logitech, or None of the Above?

I currently have the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system and I'm looking at maybe upgrading, but I'm not sure what to get. I'm pretty happy with my ProMedias, and so I'm leaning towards the Promedia 5.1, but reading reviews on www.newegg.com is making me a little iffy and I'm considering the Logitech Z-5500 speaker set. Any opinions on either one or even a different set of speakers I should get? Thanks.

Don't let the extremely good price fool you, i have them and they are one of the best speakers that I have ever owned.

i wouldnt get those they only are 90 watts and most games dont support 7.1 yet and 5.1 is plenty. and the Z-5500 has a total of 500 watts with a 188 watt subwoofer and 327 watt speakers.

Thanks for the input. I've been happy with my Klipsch 2.1, but I read so many bad reviews on the 5.1's. I think I will get the Logitechs. Thanks again.

the biggest difference i've noticed between logitech and klipsch speakers is that the bass is a lot more boomy and less controlled with klipsch speakers, and the highs are a lot less defined/detailed as logitechs, and that the logitech's bass is generally a lot tighter and cleaner than klipsch speakers...

comparison comes from logitech z-560s and klipsch's previous line of ProMedia Ultra 5.1
