Hello:
New around these here parts - was wondering if anyone knows about installing SB audigy (older model SB0350) with a newer motherboard that uses PCI express. Will the sound card work? Are these PCI express ports backward compatible with regular PCI peripherals? Thanks in advance- Tom |

PCIe is NOT only for video. There's a full range of slots, but it's currently only really used for video. If you don't beleive me, check on newegg.

A thousand thank-yous guys-
I thought my new mobo only had the PCI Express slots but after looking I realized it had both. And I do understand that at this point only video cards are being made but in the future they'll probably made others as well. Thanks large dudes- Tom |
