Exclamation Creative Sound Blaster

I currently have the AUDIGY 2 ZS PLATINUM sound card. I just came across the new X-Fi Platinum. I was thinking of upgrading. What is everyones opinion? So basically, AUDIGY 2 ZS PLATINUM vs. X-Fi Platinum. Please let me know. Thank you.

well the x-fi's gonna be better, but then you have to ask if it's really worth it, I've got the regular Audigy 2 ZS and I'm not planning on upgrading any time soon cause it works wonderfully, the audigy platinum is a great card and I think it would be a waste to buy the x-fi platinum cause your current card is more than adequate

Default Well well...

well here are the difference in spefications between the 2...
The ZS http://www.creative.com/products/pro...uct=4915&nav=1
The X-f1 http://www.creative.com/products/pro...ct=14065&nav=0

you can debate saying whether the x-f1 is actually worth it cuz the specifications don't seem to blow the ZS out of the water, but in actual use i for sure can tell the difference and the different modes definatly makes it alot more user friendly to use and i personally wouldn't go back to the zs...

get the X-fi xtreme music if you dont want to spend that much on the platinum. they are botht he same cards but the platinum comes with a remote and control and other stuff but other then that the xtreme music and platinum are the same thing.

Thanks for the help, I will upgrade to the X-Fi Platinum. I suppose one of the biggest reasons I was asking because the X-Fi Platinum seems better but looking at the two retail prices, the X-Fi Platinum is cheaper...which is strange to me. If anyone has any more imput I would really appreciate it. Thanks again.
