just remembered when i wen't to the opticians last year i was told i have one long sighted eye and one short sighted eye

Hehe...kinda funny how I was told that my eyes will go bad from PCs. They are fine and never had a problem. It could be because I have been using an LCD ever since 1997 when I got my first PC. They, in my view, do not strain the eyes as much as CRTs, regardless of how high their refresh rates are.

I dont wear glasses.... guess the CRT doesnt really kill my eyes all that much.

yup, if i can't see something far away cover up my l;eft eye and i can see for miles, guess i haven't got perfect 20/20 vision though

I'm suposed to wear glasses too, but I don't cause I hate having the damn things on my face all day too uncomfortable.

I've had glasses for about 12 years or so... Got 'em in the 4th grade! They've stayed relatively the same over the last few years, thankfully - because my correction is somewhere around -4.00!
