Default GIMP crashing upon startup

I have The GIMP 2.2 installed on my main pc, and it consistently crashes while starting up. It crashes at 'Fonts' so i think it's having problem initialising a font. How can I find out what font it's crashing on, and remove that font?

by possibly decoding the product, or checking the programs folder to see if there is any fonts listed in there or if there is a README on the fonts or anything similar.

alternatively, have you tried reinstalling it?

I have tried reinstalling it, still hangs. Maybe I'm not giving it enough time?

How much time exactly are you giving it? It should load up on your system well before 30 seconds have gone by...
